Knob Hill Landscape Receives Gold Award for Downtown Ecosystem

Knob Hill Landscape Company has received the prestigious Award of Excellence - Gold Award for their Downtown Educational Ecosystem project. This recognition was granted by the National Association of Landscape Professionals, honoring outstanding work in the field.

The downtown Springfield project showcases a remarkable blend of natural elements and functionality. It boasts over 600 tons of mossy-sandstone boulders, a main pond, a pre-filter shallow water intake bay, three waterfalls for improved water oxygenation, and an oversized wetland serving as an aquatic planting bed. Additionally, layers of river rock contribute to the aesthetics, and a permeable paver patio completes the area, offering an ideal learning space for school groups interested in ecosystem education.

This year, Knob Hill Landscape Company is among the 194 esteemed companies acknowledged for their exceptional landscaping projects. The award was presented at the Awards of Excellence Celebration during the ELEVATE National Conference & Expo in Dallas, Texas, in September.
